Metropolitan Capital is a specialist finance and advisory business, focussing on the lower to mid markets and providing timely finance and business advisory solutions to individuals, families and corporate clients. Transactions may involve sale or purchase of a company or business, bridging finance, restructurings, insolvencies, partnership breakups and disputes, asset purchases, property related advisory services and other matters where clients need someone that can provide practical and timely financial support and advice.

We can also coordinate and provide a broad range of support services to clients through a trusted network of professionals, including specialist lawyers, accountants, valuers and others.

Our Managing Director, John Kanga, originally started his career as a commercial banker at the ANZ bank, before starting Metropolitan Capital. John has on personal account also established and successfully sold a number of significant businesses, including childcare centres and a separate enterprise software business as well as a central CBD hotel.

He is an experienced property investor and developer across retail, residential, commercial and community sectors and has high level experience in pubs and gaming venues. He is also Chairman of the Melbourne Racing Club and is Chairman of that club's Pegasus Leisure Group, which has a major hospitality business spanning 15 pubs.
